If you're really the pound-for-pound king, if you're really not using performance-enhancers, then you do exactly what Floyd Mayweather asks. You get yourself poked with a needle on a handful of occasions -- certainly fewer times than Pacquiao has been poked with a tattoo needle -- then make Mayweather pay for his arrogance on the night of March 13. If you're the pound-for-pound king, and you didn't get that way through sophisticated doping techniques for which you know there are masking methods and/or no urine detection technology, you give up a few drops of blood without any knowledge when you might be asked to do so, a few times between now and the fight, then you do your job. If you're the pound-for-pound king, you step up and make yourself heard on this issue, and quit letting your promoter and your trainer bellow that Mayweather's demand is a method of seeking a way to avoid the fight. Mayweather, the Grand Rapids native, agreed to every contractual tenet. He accepted a 50-50 split, even though his pay-per-view fights against common opponents greatly outsold Pacquiao's. He agreed to pay Pacquiao a $10 million penalty if he comes in even half-a-biscuit or one swallow of his beloved Mountain Dew heavier than the 147-pound limit. That's astounding, given that Mike Tyson was fined $3 million for biting a chunk out of Evander Holyfield's ear. All he asked for in return was random blood testing. But will they really turn down a possible $40 million payday over random blood drug testing?And Pacquiao wouldn't comply. The longer it goes on, the more we start to sneer at the Filipino idol and wonder why. Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, has been busy at work spinning public favor in his fighter's direction. And Freddie Roach, Pacquiao's trainer, has lambasted Mayweather for a demand that he somehow deems disruptive to training. Forget that Pacquiao has endured any number of pinpricks for tattoos, including one he got just before his most recent fight, against Miguel Cotto, who declared the Filipino the hardest puncher he ever faced after getting knocked out by him, which certainly arched some eyebrows among the performance-enhancing theorists, considering the 40-pound gap Pacquiao has traversed since turning professional. Forget that since the fight fell apart Tuesday night because of the drug-testing issue, a number of experts have declared it ridiculous that Pacquiao was willing to undergo blood testing on a set schedule, but not at all within 30 days of the fight, and that the top executive of the U.S. Anti-Doping Association told the Los Angeles Times such a schedule would allow plenty of time to “dope to the gills and get away with it.” That's what Pacquiao's side wants everyone to forget. Well, here's a suggestion: Random means random, and if you don't submit, you only fuel the fire the Mayweathers have been pumping with bellows for the last three months. We're talking about a few drops of blood every few weeks. Within a few minutes, anyone who has blood drawn for a drug test has fully regenerated it. Any assertion that Pacquiao might be weakened because he has blood drawn a few times in a 10-week period before a fight is either deception or ignorance. But not both. Here's another suggestion: Set the pre-fight testing schedule so both fighters get tested randomly once between Jan. 1-15, again between Jan. 16-31, again between Feb. 1-15, and once more between Feb. 16-March 6. That guarantees no testing in the final seven days before the fight, only four pre-fight tests in total, and the randomness which is at the core of the Mayweather camp's demands. ARE YOU ON TWITTER? And that someone isn't Floyd Mayweather.

I'm 20 years old; I start going to college at the age of 18. I was so excited! High School for me was not I expect to be, My mom though that I won't have a future because for her I never do anything in life. At the age of 17 I start the GED program, I couldn't understand what's the professor was teaching so I decided to take the books to home and teach myself. But for my mother, I was doing anything. At the end of the year by June 2007 I asked my professor to send me to take the exam, Although he didn't feel I was going to pass, he sent me. When I came back from vacation, I Received a letter with my High School Diploma and a over high passin grade 4 every subject. I was happy I Knew that for the first time, my mom would be proud of me. When I start going to college, everything were awesome! But my mom start to push me to get a job saying that I have to stop being so useless, because for her I was doing anything. So I apply for target and got accepted, I love this store but its a retail store and crazy as hell scheduled. On spring fall 2008 my GPA star to fall. My scheduled at target was 3:15-12:00 am. But I didn't want my mom to start saying that I was a worthless. I talked to her and accepted. But the same think start again. She said that I misuse TAP and FAFSA money, but Hey! I worked the entire christmas 2008 days and night over hour; But I didn't take that money for me, I gave it to her! I Don't care about money I just care on making my people happy but its like they forget about me! I'm not a party person I just like to be at home with the love of my family.But this job at school its not the type of job I like, I like a place to move around and etc, Like Target! The main reason that make lead me to decide to start working its to start from the beginning & get experience, But this is affecting soo much my career. I just want an honest opinion about the situation I am currently in. I came to this college because they offered the courses I wanted to learn, and the degree that came with it. The semester is almost over now, and I have already decided that I will not be returning after Winter break. And for (in my opinion) these reasons following: * In one class with a teacher (who happens to be my adviser) we are "learning" about Operating Systems. She changed the schedule so that we would meet every Tuesday. Now - I haven't been to that class (besides today) in four weeks because she cancels or has nothing new to say. Our learning experience is an online program called Lab Sim which does not require one to be enrolled in any institution. Also, she has us doing a project as a final in Windows Movie Maker: tell me what that has to do with Operating Systems. She has not shown us how to use Movie Maker either. * My CISCO class requires four semesters just to obtain the certificate I would need. On my own I could get this certificate for far less time, and without paying board & tuition. $20,000 or $1,000??? * I also have a web pages class and a Microcomputer hardware course. Both offer certifications that I could obtain in far less time as well.

THW Presents Saturday Night Annihilation?
I am a sophomore in High school,and I am currently living with my stepmother in Alabama. My father is working and living in Hawaii for the next three years. I have been debating whether to move in with him after the current semester or just wait and move next year. My school operates on a Block Schedule, so I will have completed four courses if I move early. Pros: The ocean and climate! Its Beautiful Being able to take Algebra Two with Trig a year early. Alone Time with my father. Being able to take a musical Theory Class. A yoga studio in walking distance. A fresh start. Cons: Leaving my boyfriend behind. No Choral program. My credit for French 1 will be useless. I will not be able to audition for All State Choir. I am just curious what other people would do in this position. I know ultimately I have to make the final decision, but advice is helpful.
Should I move, or shoud I stay?
I have my back braces, both upper and lower, removed. I'm scheduled to get the front ones taken off in nine days. I'm nervous about this because I don't feel as though my teeth are completely ready. I am wearing elastics full time in a sort of triangle shape (single corner at the bottom) and that may do something before next week. I am just wondering who else was unsure about their teeth so close to the final removal and how many people actually go to their final appointment to find out they are not ready?? What steps did you or would you take for this? My orthodontist is an hour and a half away and my appointment is at eight thirty in the morning and then again at four thirty that same day. It would be a big hassle just to show up and be told I'm not ready completely... as I'm suspecting. I am very very close. There's just a couple teeth I think need... a bit more time.
How did you feel about your teeth before braces removal?
I'm a sophomore in high school and I did really bad this semester. I got a B- in Algebra 2, A- in Driver's Ed (required), an A in PE (required), and a C- in Spanish 2. I really screwed up in spanish and algebra 2. My total GPA right now is 3.55 and my rank is 140th out of 340. In total, I have 12 A's and 7 B's and one C-. I'm wondering if that C- will keep me going from a UC school because I heard that if you get a C then you automatically don't qualify to apply. I am on block schedule, in case you are wondering why I have so many grades already. For those of you who don't know what block schedule is, it is when you take half of your classes half the year so for example, i take these four classes until December and then the other four in January after Christmas break. We have 4 finals every year. 2 Midterms and 2 Finals. I really screwed up in algebra and especially spanish so I'm wondering: Can i still get into a UC school? The schools i want to go to are UCLA, Berkeley (unlikely), San Diego, Davis, or Irvine. I am taking AP World History next term. I was wondering if I brought my grades up could I still go to a UC School? Please help.
