Help with my dimple piercings?
I can't sit down in front of the computer, do chores around the home or leaving without her whining,meowing or pawing me continuously. We have another cat who is a companion. We have plenty of toys here for her to play with and their food and water bowl is always filled and litter box is cleaned plus we give them undivided attention. They are both spayed/neutered and I don't know why my female cat is acting this way. Is she stressed out? Am I not giving her enough attention? I don't know what else to do.That could explain her actions. I do love all my kitties. They are my life but when i need to work on something, i better give them a little extra attention. TY:)
Why is my cat so co-dependant/clingy all of a sudden?
i have spent hours and hours over the past year and a half reading up on this issue and have spent just as much time trying every trick ive come across, but with no success. so my cat, almost 2 has not been peeing in his litter box for a bit over a year now and im really not sure what to do anymore. 1. he does not have a UTI, or bladder infection, or any other health issue. (ive gotten urine tests and blood tests and even x-rays by two separate vets, all of which have come back negative). 2. i have 2 litter boxes throughout my (small) apartment, both of which i keep impeccably clean (scoop 2-3 times a day or right after he's used it). 3. i have tried about 10 different brands of litter -- from clumping to non-clumping, scented and non-scented - clay, woodchips, etc. 4. the litter boxes are not near his food or water bowls. and i have moved them around several times throughout the past year or so incase it was the location that was bothering him. (ive now run out of places in my apartment to try) 5. ive tried both hooded and non-hooded litter boxes. 6. he is neutered, and has been ever since he became sexually mature. 7. there are no other pets in the house. nor is there anyone else living here that may upset him. 8. i have not moved since i got him, nor have there been any significant changes in the household. 9. i work at home, and am therefore home alot, so i can't imagine he could be doing this out of loneliness. 10. it is absolutely, undoubtedly urine, not spraying or marking. 11. he uses the litter box to defecate without error. 12. i have two feliway plugs in the apartment, which i change every 3-4 weeks as directed. 13. i clean every and all areas that he pees in/on with Nature's Miracle several times over (an activity i do every single day). i have a blacklight(that works) to check for uncleaned spots. 14. he always pees on hard surfaces (either the floor or table tops, dressers, etc.) and never on beds or sofas or clothing. he is an extremely mild tempered cat and very sweet and affectionate. he never seems nervous or skiddish or acts out in any way (no scratching, or hissing) i have tried all the weird quirky tricks i have read about from putting tin foil in pee spots to sprinkling pepper. i have even tried, on at least 5 occasions, to "retrain" him to use the litter (putting him in the bathroom with nothing but litter and food/water. this always works for the first few days, sometimes (at best) a couple weeks, but then starts the behavior again. im at the end of my rope. and absolutely exhausted with all of this. i love him like a child, and will NOT get rid of him if i cant fix it, but i just simply CANT give up on trying to find a solution. any suggestions would be immensely helpful!
why won't my cat pee in the litter box?
Even when you really take care of it, it still let's you down? I am. I keep the oil changed and I keep everything in checked. I wish I could get a break for once. No matter what I do I always seem to get the crappiest vehicle. The ones that cost you 400 plus just to get something fixed on it. No it can't be 50 to 100 dollars and be simple. oh no. It always has to break the bank for the next 6 months! Right now I don't know if there's water in my tank. Or I need a new fuel pump or what. We've had lot's and lots of rain here and yesterday I put gas in my truck. I drove to work and back, no problems. I got in my truck tonight to come in and got about 2 miles from my house and my truck started acting crazy. My check engine light started to flicker but would go off as soon as the truck started to get power. But when I stopped it would act as if it was going to stall. I went back to my house and my husband looked at it and said it wasn't idling right. I was taking it this week for a new oil change and to get the fuel injection cleaned. I like to have it clean at least once or twice a year. It seems to really help on my gas mileage and the truck runs so much better. I'm hoping that it only a little water in the tank since it has rain a lot here and I just got the gas Friday morning. I hadn't gone any where until I pick up my daughter from schoo, only a mile opr so from our house then came to work and back home. I figured there was enought gas already in the engine and fuel line for that. But once the gas reached the engine tonight and a mile or so from my house before it happen then I really hope that's all it is. We're planning to go on a vacation for once in 24 years! So yeah I'm sick of owning a vehicle that always let's me down like this. Last one I had I put over 2,000 dollars in it trying to keep it going. I'm so drained of it all.

What does one have to gain by calling oneself a feminist? Surely a person should be concerned about equality for ALL, not just 50% of the population. Coming to this section is like watching a Lifetime movie, poor women, always the victims and men are always the problems. The thing with feminism is that it seems so one sided. They act as if ONLY women get treated badly/unfairly. For instance, they go on about how women are being abused, raped etc. They seem to ignore that men are beaten, murdered, and mugged everyday. Even at a higher rate than women. So why focus only on violence against women? They also talk about how women are treated badly in third world countries, that's true, but again its not just women. Men go through some horrible things too. Everyone does. Lack of food, clean water ,disease, oppressive governments, men are beaten, raped, forced into wars where they must watch people being blown apart, its not JUST women. Maybe people would stop thinking bad of feminists if they ended this "only women are victims" crap. I'm all for equality but not this "one gender suffers" BS

OKAY it was 2.5 gallons. It had my super aggressive betta in it (she murdered 8 fish, and nearly killed another one) this happened around an hour ago. I was cleaning my room and the tank was on my dresser (its only 2.5 gallons, i do not think it needs a stand) My cat jumped on it, and i went back there, he saw me coming. He jumped off, and made the dresser like hit the wall behind it. So did the fish tank, and the back got a crack in it. We shut the heater off (safety reasons) as well as the filter. We drained some water. Its got like 3 inches, above the gravel. Currently, my aggressive betta is in the 14 gallon tank, floating in a cup. this tank has 12 plants in it (live) and a cave. And 7 female bettas and 5 cory catfish. I have poured some water out, and let some coming out of the filter fill the cup. She's acting like a male, (a real pretty one) and YES she's a female. She flares, swims around, etc. I'm afraid to release her. I have around 10 bucks saved up, not even enough for a decent 'goldfish' bowl. Should i just put her in a cup? Or release her? She is very delicate, and i love her. Please help me? My parents won't give me money, i already asked, they asked if i could wait til they got paid, in 2 WEEKS. I only have these two tanks. So please please please please HELP ME! (and my ammonia is higher then normal since i have baby snails. A local petstore will take them, but they need to be bigger. 36-40 apple snails which are bigger then some gravel. ? They're pretty grown up, just not enough for the best store.)My parents say to wait until we go into town 3-4 days. we are going to go to the petstore anyways to get some more sinking wafersthe sad part is, the female betta she almost killed won't swim to the side with her cup. She's stressed out a bunch, i added some stress coat. Poor thing...can i put the heater in it?
Help...my fish tank cracked?
The Constitution doesn't say anything about the right of citizens to clean water and it doesn't give the government the authority to protect the environment. Should Missouri be able to dump raw sewage into the Mississippi within its borders and let it wash downstream into Arkansas? Is the EPA just another power grab by those Marxists in the White House?

NOTE: When I say "girly girl," I don't mean being "sassy" or whatever. What I want is to be like a "lady." To begin with, I've been a tomboy since who knows when. Now it doesn't mean I wear masculine clothes or that I'm oriented towards my fellow girls- I'm just not like that. I simply act rough for a girl. I don't have grace when I walk. Heck, my posture is so wrong. I'm way too feisty to the point that I like punching boys who annoy me. I hate make-up even if I was just to wear foundation or a simple dab of lipstick. I ONLY wear a typical t-shirt or simple blouse and jeans when going outside. I like riding the bicycle when I was young. (And to be honest, my childhood neighbors were all boys, even my little sibling.) I hate pink, dolls, shiny things, Twilight, and most of all, having my picture taken. Most of my things are unisexual. And I don't tie my hair (I just wear an annoying headband). I don't groom myself that much. The only grooming I do is: brushing my teeth twice a day (can't do it thrice because of school); and taking a warm shower once a day. And when I take a bath, it usually takes me 15 minutes. I shampoo my hair twice a week and simply wash my body with ordinary soap then rinse it with water. I don't wash my face. The only time my face gets cleaned is when I let my face come into contact with water when I take a bath. My hair reaches to my shoulder and no matter how much I try to comb it, people still say it's messy. My hobby pretty much includes surfing the net and lurking at who knows where and reading mangas (Japanese comics). I'm pretty much of an inside person (the only time when I was pretty much active outdoors was when I still had my bike). I barely go out to shop or eat outside. And when I do, it's always with my family. My mom's strict and she won't allow me to go to a nearby mall, even if I was to go with my friends who just happen to be the most trustworthy people in my class. Despite my tomboyish attitude, I actually like girly stuff (e.g., dressing up). The only reason why I don't dress up is because I've always been used to wearing a t-shirt and jeans. If I were to dress up, I'd feel so weird and new to myself as if I'm an emo baking gingerbread men. On top of that, I really want to be a girl, especially after hearing my friends say that I could actually be beautiful if I just fix myself. (Oh and just so you want to know, I'm an incoming junior in my high school.) Now that the school's over and summer's already here in my place, I'd like to start about on being a girl once and for all, but sadly, I don't know where to start. Any help, guys? Advice please? Recommend some guides, perhaps? And maybe some inspiration? I'm going to need all the help I could get. Please and thank you.I don't think I could buy girly clothes as of now. My parents are strict and when it comes to buying clothes, I know it sucks but my mom is the one responsible for buying them. She buys the "decent" ones (also known as a simple tee/blouse and jeans). So I guess I can't start off the whole changing myself thing with changing my outfits. I'm telling you this just so you'd know, guys...Oh and as much as possible, don't advice me saying to buy this or that. I'm sorry but it seems I have a very tight budget here.
How do I change from being a tomboy into a girly girl?
I really really really really really want to go to UNC! It is my absolute top choice school! I've visited last month and I loved it and I even wrote a thank you letter (I know I'm an ass haha). I took the ACT and had my score report sent to them. Unfortunately my freshman and soph year I didn't really care much about doing my homework. I got pretty much straight Bs in ALL honors classes and APUS (with a 4 on the exam). This year I've made a turn around though! Here we go: Junior yr: core classes AP Chem: 1st semester: A- 2nd (so far): A NOTE: I want to major in biochemistry/biology/maybe chemistry. AP world history: 1st: A- 2nd: A Honors Spanish iv: 1st: A- 2nd: A Honors Precalc: 1st: B- 2nd: A English literature: 1st: A 2nd: A Also 2nd semester I am a student teacher in our Spanish department Extracurriculars (yay): Boyscouts: Working on finishing Eagle scout (my project revamped my elementary school woods to make it cleaner and more accessible for wildlife and students), Senior patrol leader for 1 term, several high adventure (2 weeks) outings 1 as a crew leader Students for Obama club last year, Bill Clinton came to my school NBD. Young Democrats so far 2 years, Prez next year! Also we did a campaign to change the discrimination policy in our school district AND we're working on the 2010 local elections (its so fun!) Sports: (so far) 3 yrs varsity swimming (going for a fourth next fall), 2 yrs JV water polo, 1 yr varsity water polo (captain next year!) Habitat for Humanity: Going for my 3rd year this summer, 1 week in the summer to help build a house somewhere in the US, Also through a different organization (Rebuilding Together) I spent 2 weekends in the summer to help renovate a house for a retired veteran (so much fun and was so rewarding because he was so happy I'll probably write my essay this!) Employment: Worked as a local pool lifeguard in the winter. bout 15 hours a week Volunteer at my church: I play the piano at fundraiser dinners for mission trips and am part of the altar guild. Also lifeguard over the summer for this program for underprivileged kids, teaching them how to swim etc Tests(!): 32 on the ACT so far but a 26 on reading so I'm taking it again in April and the SATI this saturday and the SATII Chem and Math II in May as well as AP exams in Chem and World History! Senior Sched: AP Bio AP Calc AP Statistics AP Literature AP Government band gym (awesome) PLEASE tell me things I can improve on! I will improve! I'm willing to do pretty much anything it takes..... also I'm out of state......:///
Getting into the school I want next year?!?
I have a cat that I've had for a few years now. He's always been a bit needy, just like when he needs food, he will let you know and won't stop til you get him some. But recently he's been like that over nothing. The reasons its annoying is because he'll sit in front of you and just meow, once you get up to walk he starts walking in front of your feet, and ends up tripping you. Like I said he's doing it now over nothing!!!! He has food and water and his litter is always clean and available .. but he's acting like he's out of everything .. and has been for days. Does anyone have any idea why he's doing this? Or how we can get him to stop? Also, nothing has changed, like his brand of food, or where its located.
Cat has become unbelievably needy .. why?
so she had her first litter a while back. All but 1 left. But see she and her pup played constantly. He was her best friend. They dug a hole a few days ago and got out but only Jazz, the mother, came back. We searched for him but couldn't find him. I believe he found a new home. But since then, Jazz won't really eat her dog food. She just walks away. And I promise you that's not her. She eats...alot. So then we gave her some human food and she ate it like normal, guess our food is just too good to pass up. So we tried bringing her in the house. But we noticed she had a few ticks on her. So we bathed her, then filled a bowl up of her dog food. She still wouldn't eat. So today we had some left over brisket full of mainly fat and we decided to give it to her b/c she needed to eat. we tied her up in the front, gave it to her and went to IHOP. When we came back, it was gone. We needed to let my Chihuahua out to pee so we let her in for a sec. She was acting good. We gave her some water and then I got out the leash and doggy brush to brush her outside. when I told her to come she got up and puke...alot. I took her out and my mom cleaned it up. she was shaking constantly and i don't think it was b/c she was scared. I think she is sick. My mom says it could be heartache but I disagree. I'm 16 and I plan on being a vet. I have a deep love for animals, especially dogs. Usually I know what's wrong but not this time. idk much about tick fever, could it be that?
