    Why the health care bill?
Health care is a very major issue that deals with the future of the U.S and its citizens. President Obama wants to make the insurance more available to all people and change the American's health care system so that it is cheaper. He also wants the change so that the insurance companies find it harder to get out of paying for treatment. There are many pros of enforcing health care such as it will come to the aid of people who do not have Medicare or Medicaid. Many people have went to hospitals for serious conditions and have either been sent back out of the hospital or tended to last because they cannot afford to pay the bill. If this is enforced, the costs of the health bills will be reduced and more affordable. People will not have to pay a large amount of money just because of natural causes. On the other hand, patients receiving medical coverage also receive additional help in the event of a serious injury or illness. It would also assist people who have a very low income but yet work hard acquire the help they require. For instance, perhaps right now they are stress out about not being able to afford prescription drugs or frustrated that they cannot afford to pay a dentist or to operate on their teeth. It would provide relief to families fighting to make ends meet. People would also be protected in the event of an accident. Additional pro is that there will be increased competition in the insurance market. It might be from a public option. It might also be from some kind of non-profit, state-specific, co-operative. This might push the health care companies to lower costs and provide better services. Health care enforcement not only has pros but it also has some cons. There will be fewer doctors in medicine because of a drastic pay cut. Patients may be subjected to wait extremely long for treatment. If health care does happen to get enforced, hospitals will be packed with patients that need to be treated. Another con of health care enforcement is that people will be controlled more by the government. If health care does get enforced then it is more than likely that the government is going to take charge and make huge changes. He may pass additional restrictions to keep us away from certain things or increase taxes on things such as smoking, fast-food, etc. Doing these things could actually stop many Americans from having the freedom that they already have. All of our health records and personal information will be in the hands of the government and all of that information will no longer be confidential. Moreover, government-controlled health care could lead to a decrease in patient flexibility. The doctors cannot get to all of the patients at one time and they have to figure out which people will have to be treated first. These decisions could lead to people with serious problems waiting for many months just to get treatment at the hospitals. Should Congress pass a health care reform bill? I think it is important that they do everything within their power to get the middle class back to full employment before they try to overhaul the health care system. No matter what reforms are made, it is going to add a huge burden to government budgets. The U.S cannot maintain the current rate of spending, much less increase it, without a solid middle class tax base because we can be certain that the rich and business are not going to pay for it.

Can you give me any ideas about this writing, please? Is it fine?

    New health care reform bill.?
I also want to know what the pros and cons are. Oh, and I don't want any crap about how it'll ruin America; if you honestly think it will, I want a VERY detailed explanation or else don't post a hasty generalization and make yourself look like an idiot.@Postal P. Yes, I read it and it's true that if you don't get health insurance you'll get fined. That, I don't like about it. Originally, I thought it was just going to be the government subsidizing you more if you wanted health insurance as I know plenty of people that are "happy without it" (and taxing the rich more, which, well if you're rich, sorry, you'll have to wait for that Ferrari, and if you're not, hey it's better for you). And I thought there was going to be a public option, which though people claim will ruin insurance companies by destroying profits and creating a government monopoly, I don't think that the government would go to those measures to completely destroy companies as it would hurt the US economy.

Can someone give me the basics of the health care reform bill?
-The Pros and Cons of Health Care Reform- Pros: -Health care/insurance for all! ¡Viva la socialism! -France and friends will stop laughing at us Cons: -The government will control health as well as 1/6 of the economy -Sneaky Death Panels! -Catholic hospitals will be forced to perform abortions -More Taxes! -The greatest advancement towards communism yet -Drug addicts and illegals get a free ride -More taxes going to prisoners (cough *pelosi* cough) (Did you know that an average prison inmate costs 250k to support for a year?) -Medicare slashed -Our debt rockets further into the trillions -If this bill passes, republicans will never have a fair chance again. How's that for democracy? Liberals, am I insane to think this is all really, really bad? Anyone is free to add to those 2 lists... -

How long will health reform advocates support socialized medicine, despite its ever growing list of flaws?
So far he has been doing a great job. Dow Jones is up. 680,000 jobs have been saved or created. Iraq war is stabilizing, the Taliban is on the run. Stimulated the US economy by giving new home owners up to $8000 in tax credits. Funneled more money into the US economy which in turn the banks are heavily lending people FHA ( Only 3.5% Down,, VA ( No money down ), and USDA ( Rural Housing Loans no money down ) Just Passed a massive Health Care reform bill. ( What a great accomplishment although it still needs to be voted on again ) Many countries that hated us before now respect us more for electing such an impressive and intelligent President. He says what he means and means what he says. Reduced taxes for 90 % of all Americans. I am now paying under president Obama 4% less in Taxes although I make 70k per year. Thank you President Obama. This is money I can use to take a nice vacation and relax. And may I mention Nobel Peace Prize winner again. This is so important. The world now recognizes the United States as a peaceful nation again. ( Fine Print: Although we are still at war ) I have to admit this one came too soon but very welcomed. Should we have a National President Obama Day? A Day that we can all hold hands together in peace? If you have 2 cows you give me one? for free?? I have to admit that We should all look at the pros and cons of any situation instead of rushing to quick judgment based on preconceived decisions. Not everything is political. Not one person leads a country. We all do it together. The United States is a country of the best people in the world. What happened to us? Why are we so mad , angry, frustrated, over worked, anxious, in a rush, multi tasking, rushing to judgment, assuming everyone is the enemy? don't know . but...... I have faith. Nothing lasts forever and I believe this recession will teach many irresponsible people some personal responsibility. Is this possible? President Obama is doing a good job. Has only been president under a year. He walked into this mess and people expect him to wave a magic wand? It doesn't work that way. Patience is the key to success, Patience is a virtue. what happened? Peace

How can we as Americans thank Nobel Peace prize winner and United States President Obama for his leadership?
For those of us who didn't take their time to read the thousands of pages that make up the latest bill proposal (including 95% of congress), what are the meat and bones of the bill? The good? The bad? The ugly?

What are some of the pros/cons of passing the health care reform bill?
To Me: Pros _ More jobs (government funding means more funding for equipment , reasearch, jobs in hospitals...etc more contracts for hospital based jobs like med. billing...etc) Health care for everyone regardless of income - level of Healthcare can only get better since we are at the bottom.so what do we have to lose?? Cons - Job losses (for insurance companies)... - Higher taxes ...........What are ure pros and what are ure cons?? - Hi

What are the benefits and Non benefits of health care reform?
pros: -cheaper healthcare cons: -less coverage than your original health care -a deductible of 20% when your original cheaper AARP deductible, is about 60% -You do not have the privelage of choosing your own doctor -once the healthcare reform is passed they will raise the price of their health care to an all time high -you sign on to the helathcare reform bill with a contract that raises annualy, but it just so happens they are in dire need of money and need to raise your bill -you recieve less treatment than your original plan, and do not recieve the same coverage that your AARP plan covers Enough of the pros and cons what are your thoughts on this, liberals and conservatives welcome : )
