    I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I turned on my computer about 5 minutes ago. Now, every thirty seconds, a popup shows up saying like unhandled exception. When I click continue, it just comes back 30 seconds later. This is so annoying! How can I stop it from coming back? Thanks in advance. See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Toaster.Helper.checkUpgradeReminder() at Toaster.Helper.checkReminders() at Toaster.Window1.timer_Tick(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.TimerNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/v2.0.50727/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- Toaster Assembly Version: 1.0.0.31 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.31 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Dell%20DataSafe%20Local%20Backup/Toaster.exe ---------------------------------------- PresentationFramework Assembly Version: 3.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 3.0.6920.4902 built by: NetFXw7 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/PresentationFramework/3.0.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35/PresentationFramework.dll ---------------------------------------- WindowsBase Assembly Version: 3.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 3.0.6920.4902 built by: NetFXw7 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/WindowsBase/3.0.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35/WindowsBase.dll ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- PresentationCore Assembly Version: 3.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 3.0.6920.4902 built by: NetFXw7 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_32/PresentationCore/3.0.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35/PresentationCore.dll ---------------------------------------- SftBRCC Assembly Version: 1.0.0.5 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.5 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Dell%20DataSafe%20Local%20Backup/SftBRCC.DLL ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.050727-4900) CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/2.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- PresentationFramework.Aero Assembly Version: 3.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 3.0.6920.4902 built by: NetFXw7 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/assembly/GAC_MSIL/PresentationFramework.Aero/3.0.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35/PresentationFramework.Aero.dll ---------------------------------------- SftBRCCPiped Assembly Version: 1.0.0.1 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Dell%20DataSafe%20Local%20Backup/SftBRCCPiped.DLL ---------------------------------------- MiddleLayerCLRLib Assembly Version: 1.0.3399.17186 Win32 Version: 1, 0, 0, 8 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Dell%20DataSafe%20Local%20Backup/MiddleLayerCLRLib.DLL ---------------------------------------- msvcm80 Assembly Version: 8.0.50727.4927 Win32 Version: 8.00.50727.4927 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/WinSxS/x86_microsoft.vc80.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.4927_none_d08a205e442db5b5/msvcm80.dll ---------------------------------------- STBRCCServCLR Assembly Version: 1.0.0.1 Win32 Version: 1.0.0.1 CodeBase: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Dell%20DataSafe%20Local%20Backup/STBRCCServCLR.DLL ---------------------------------------- Accessibility Assembly Version: 2.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 2.0.50727.4927 (NetFXspW7.05072I could not find a program named Toaster in msconfig.     What does this Microsoft .net Framework popup mean?
    I just bought it a few days ago, I installed Windows 7 Home Premium on it, works beautifully. Except the fact that whenever I open an imagine, play a game, or perform a powerpoint slideshow (just from what I did) a cooling fan or more starts to work in it crazy and makes it very noisy. I'm having the same problem when I start up the computer but it stops when the OS loads and it runs perfectly (except if I don't do too much on it) I looked at the task manager to see if the CPU is used or the ram too much but it's not. If it helps: Dell Dimension XPS 600 Intel Pentium Dual-Core CPU @ 3,20 GHz 2.00 GB of RAM (DDR2) Video: Dual SLI Graphics nVidia 7900 GS OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit It's strange, because if I run a browser-game, or watch a 1080p HD video on YouTube this thing doesn't happen. I think the noise is coming from the power supply or video card (not sure). And besides this, if I install nVidia's official drivers from www.nvidia.com the problem gets worse, and the cooling fan starts each 2/3 mins for 30-40 seconds without doing anything. I tried to disable Aero and close apps running in the background but it's the same thing. I also uninstalled all the graphics drivers on the computer and then even if the OS was loading, the noise was not stopping whatever I was doing. I think this is a video card issue, though. Anyone can help me!?!? I first wanted to install Windows XP Professional SP2 on it but it said it doesn't recognize the hard drive and setup could not continue.

    Dell XPS 600 gaming computer cooling issue (PLEASE HELP!?!?!?!?)?
    i have a dell dimension 4600 and i was looking at this graphics card http://cgi.ebay.com/NVIDIA-GeForce-6200A-256MB-DDR2-AGP-With-Low-Profile_W0QQitemZ130361665629QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPCC_Video_TV_Cards?hash=item1e5a29285d and i was wondering if this work work with my pc and if it does would it support windows 7 aero. thanks.

    Graphics card help ANSWER QUICK PLEASE!!!!?
    i just installed windows 7 on my dell inspiron 1501, the only complaint that i have is that my screen resolution is now terrible and everything on the screen looks stretched out & blurry. Plus the theme is not windows aero. Does any body out there know how to fix this problem P.S do not suggest going to control panel and go to adjust screen resolution because I tried that already

    why is my computer screen resolution horrible?
    I have a Dell Inspiron 530s that has a 2.66 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 with 3GB RAM and a Dell Inspiron 530 that has a 2.5 Ghz Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 with 4 GB RAM. Even though the Inspiron 530s is at least older than the 530 by a year, it has better application speed and boots up faster than the newer 530. Before upgrading the graphics, the Inspiron 530 has a Windows Experience Index of 3.5 due to the low score in "Desktop performance for Windows Aero". But after upgrading it from integrated graphics to an ATI Radeon HD 4350 with 512 MB RAM, it went down to 3.2. The older Inspiron 530s originally had an ATI Radeon X2400 Pro with 256 MB RAM which gave it a Windows Experience Index of 3.9. This bit I find very strange. I also have an HP DV6-1242tx 15.6" laptop that has a 2.26 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo P7550 with 4GB of RAM and 512 MB of dedicated graphics memory, obtaining a Windows Experience Index of 4.7; way higher than the ones that either of the desktops got. Is the processor to blame?

    Why is the Pentium Dual Core processor so much slower than the Core 2 Duo processor?
    I've upgraded my Dell Dimension 3000 from XP to Windows 7. everything is working fine, with the exception of the screen resolution being too big to fit my screen, and the Aero transparency not working. currently i have Intel 865G Graphics Chip Accelerated VGA bios, my question is what graphic card would i need in order to run the windows aero effect? also i would prefer to be directed towards a somewhat economical graphics card. any help is most appreciated. thanks.I'm not planning to make it into a gaming pc, but i might have a couple of emulators on it like a sega dreamcast and a gamecube. i just want it to be able to run the aero effect thanks. p.s. i tried the windows 7 upgrade advisor prior to installing it but the damn thing wouldn't run.

    What Graphic card do i need if i want to use Aero on Windows 7?
    I recently updated my windows to 7 ultimate from xp. I got the windows 7 from a friend and i istalled it. but some things are not working right. i need to know if i can restore my whole computer back to windows xp. Im really in need of help. Everything on my pc is magnafied and i cant make it unmagnafied. It says i need a better graphics card that can handle aero for windows 7 or whatever that means. I just want xp back. I have a dell dimension 3000. i tried pressing CTRL+F11 when the system starts to restore everything but nothing works. PLEASE HELP! Thank you

    Windows 7 problem. Please HELP!?
    Ok, I have this issue where I can't enable Aero because it needs min. 128MB of graphics mem. and I'm currently using the onboard graphics which is the Intel Graphics Controller 82865G; it only has 96 MB. The problem is, my Dell computer doesn't have any input slots except for 3 PCI slots. No, it will not accept PCI-E, AGP etc. So, I found this PCI graphics card which seems pretty good for its price, but I'm not sure if it's fully compatible with my pc. Here's the link: http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=&webid=740192&affixedcode=WW PC Specs: Windows 7 (Ultimate) Motherboard Model Dell 0N6381 CPU Full Name Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.40GHz Memory: Maximum Capacity: 4096 MBytes Memory Slots: 2 Slots Occupied: 2 Slot 1: 1GB Slot 2: 256MB Availible PCI Slots: PCI Slot 1 PCI Slot 2 PCI Slot 3 Note: I am planning to replace the 256MB ram card with a 1gb, so it will be faster... Please reply fast, as this item is also on sale in-stores and will end soon!

    Is this graphics card compatible with my Dell Dimension 3000 System?
    Hey, I'm running on an old Dell Dimension 3000 I just ran Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, and it came back with some problems. To give you some specs. of my computer, here: Processor: Intel Celeron CPU 2.40GHz RAM: 1.00GB of DDR RAM Hard Drive C: 33.6GB, with 7.76GB free. Okay, Here are the results of the Upgrade Advisor: Custom Installation Required (because I'm on Windows XP) Windows Aero Support failed because "Your current graphics adapter won't support the Windows Aero user interface. If you want to experience the benefits of Windows Aero, contact your PC manufacturer or retailer to see if an upgrade is available." Free Space on C: failed "you need at least 16GB of free space on your hard disk to install 32-bit Windows 7. You can make room by removing unwanted files from your hard disk, or contact your PC manufacturer or retailer to see if a hard disk with more capacity is available for your PC. You could also do a custom installation on another Hard Disk." I'm going to fix this after christmas, because I'm buying a new Hard Drive that's at least 160GB CPU Speed: Passed "you need at least 1GHz processor" I'm good. 1GB of RAM: Passed, I'm hopefully upgrading to around 2 or 3GB of RAM after Christmas. If anyone could help with the graphics, I'd be very thankful. Thanks.Just to let the guy who answered the third time, there are 4 people who use this computer, and I'm just one of them. Other people have other shit on here too.Okay, I get it. My Hard Disk sucks, and my computer sucks. I KNOW. I'm getting the 32-Bit Windows 7, and I'm on XP right now. The Space I have free on my HDD is AFTER CLEAN UP. If you could give me a link or the name of a graphics card that will support windows 7 that's UNDER $100, that'd be awesome. And by the way, YES, I'm getting a new hard drive

    Why Can't I Run Windows 7?
    will windows 7 with aero work with a dell xps 400 with 1.5 gb ram and 120 GB hard drive?its has a NVidia GeForce 6800 Graphics Controller. and btw i hate mac OS x. macs hardware is great but i hate there OS.
