Well he is not a NFL ready QB and more than likely never will be, if he goes before the 4th round consider it providence. Iupati is ranked low because he is a guard who might be able to play right tackle. Guards and right tackles usually don't go in the first round. In fact, the last guard taken in the first round was Ben Grubbs #29 in 2007.Mel Kiper's draft is different from mine. Also, it is spelled plagiarize.
NFL Mock Draft version 1.0 : What do you think?
Do journalists have to lose the accent before making it big? A couple of people who have a modernized accent - Bill Oreilly , Sean Hannity. Both of those are from New York. Larry King seems to have his east coast accent but I'd have to listen again. I noticed on Seinfeld - Jerry and George have an east coast accent but Elaine and Kramer don't seem to - but Michael Richards is from the west coast. Is there such thing as a west coast accent? Woody Harrelson's Texas accent seems to stay with him. Please comment on my observations and add any insight.modernized accent doesn't make much sense - those two journalists seem to have no east coast accent is what I mean.
I have some questions about accents...?
I'm not just talking about the NBA. I'm talking about all of sports. NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, everything. I hate this one team pretty much just because of their fans. And that team is the fu**ing Cleveland Cavaliers. I hate all you Cav fans. All of you! If you're a cavs fan you might as well be jewish because you're going to "you know where when you die". And I'm not even a lebron hater! Imagine that! Yes I think kobe is better than lebron because i know more about the nba other than what the stat sheet says but that doesnt mean i hate lebron. I think Lebron is #2 in the nba! He's a great player. He's got a pretty good attitude for the most part. He is slightly overrated but hey so is kobe bryant, wilt chamberlain, jerry west, magic johnson, larry bird and even micheal jordan. (MJ is #1 of all time tho) but i hate cavs fans because you're not cavs fans! you're lebron james fans! i hope lebron leaves cleveland this summer SO BAD! I dont care where he goes! New York, Nets, Miami, Bulls, Lakers, he could stay in cleveland and play for the browns for all i care! I just want him to leave the cavs and have all the cav fans disappear! Seriously, all you cavs fans talk so highly about lebron james, and you should, he's a great player. but then you talk bad on every single other player on the team by saying lebron has to do everything on that team. First off, thats just stupid. There's never been a team that is really good just because of one player. Second off, the cavs are good because of their defense not their offense. and no defense is good just because of one player, especially when that one player you're talking about is lebron james. (his defense is really not that great) But he does have help on offense too. Daniel Gibson has the highest 3pt% in the nba, and anthony parker is like 5th in the nba in 3pt%. Ilguaskas is a 7"3 center who has a great jump shot. Shaq is a huge presence and often times forces double teams. Mo Williams also has a great jump shot and can shoot the 3 good. he does have help on the offensive end, its just none of them are really great outstanding players. He just has a bunch of good players. But thats not the point of what I'm talking about. My point is is that there really aren't any cavalier fans out there, there's just lebron fans. Even the Cleveland Cavalier Management knows this. Yes they want to keep lebron because he's a great player but they also know that if he leaves business will GO DOWN! A lot! Nobody cared about the cavs at all before lebron james joined the franchise! nobody! believe me i used to live in Ohio! I hate when people call themselves cavalier fans, because you know as soon as lebron leaves whenever that may be you will not be a fan anymore. call yourself a lebron fan not a cavs fan. any thoughts?...how... how can you be a nets fan right now???lol i hate the patriots. I hate the giants too but when they beat the patriots in the super bowl that was just plain awesome. im sick of every nfl preseason hearing on how this is the year for the Patriots. but back to basketball. Shaq is shooting just fine. He's shooting 56% idk what you're talking about! Most of the time when Daniel Gibson is on the floor lebron isn't. Recently he has been because of Mo Williams being hurt but he comes off the bench when williams is healthy. That may be true about Anthony Parker but he's still a great shooter. I mean Kobe gets his guys wide open behind the arc all the time and they just come out short a lot. Otherwise the lakers would have beaten Memphis. You obviously know nothing about the lakers to say that kobe bryant is the only reason there are fans. You ask kids you're age??? Can i talk to an adult please?!Oh and Jeff there are plenty of bulls fans. idk what you're talking about. MJ has been retired for some time now bud. I'm saying once lebron leaves cleveland there will no longer be cavs fans.to all the lil bi**hes that taking the whole wishing them upon to hell thing so seriously, shut up. they're not actually going to hell because there is no hell, there is no heaven, when u die you will rot in the ground just like everyone else. Renae... i hate to be sexist here, but i really doubt you're a long life time cleveland fan. sure maybe you pick up the newspaper in the morning and see that the cavaliers won, but i really wonder how much you actually know about the team and how much you actually watch them. there are laker bandwagon fans but there are bandwagon fans with any team. but there are also many loyal laker fans. during the years even when they had kobe bryant right after shaq left and they struggled to make the playoffs, they were still one of the most popular teams in the nba. lakers have had way too many stars previous to kobe bryant for their fans to disappear. there are tons of laker fans, not just kobe fans.
The worst fans in not just the NBA, but all of sports!?
Big Apple taxpayers could be on the hook for as much as $1 billion in security costs if the trials of 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed and four other terrorists drag on for as long as experts think they will. Fat chance there, too. So the top guns of New York's congressional delegation need to step up to guarantee that the federal government does right by the city. Yep, Sens. Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, Reps. Jerry Nadler and Charles Rangel, that means you. Given the way the fearsome foursome rolled over for the billion-dollar hit ObamaCare stands to put on New York, we're not optimistic about the KSM expense. But their responsibility is clear. In a letter to Obama's Office of Management and Budget, Mayor Bloomberg notes that preparation for the trial will cost approximately $216 million. Later costs will be about $200 million a year. Figure the cumulative trial bill to be at least $1 billion (no way they'll be done in less than four or five years). That's $1 billion in costs that the city can't absorb -- especially given how much the day-to-day operations of the NYPD are devoted to both counterterrorism vigilance and regular duties. An OMB spokesman said, in response to Bloomberg's letter, "We recognize the federal government's responsibility in this matter, and we will meet [it]." Sure, they will. Now, eight years ago, in the dark days after 9/11, President George W. Bush asked Sens. Schumer and Hillary Clinton how much federal aid New York would need to get back on its feet. Schumer declared, "$20 billion." Bush agreed -- and kept his word. But this time assurances won't do -- not after Obama's promises on middle-class taxes, etc., have fallen by the wayside. Only pledges in writing will suffice. Both Schumer and his loyal hand puppet, Gillibrand, have called for a separate budget line to cover New York trial costs. (How much do you want to bet that Schumer's people took the initiative and his sidekick just signed on? She's good at that, at least.) But Schumer, Gillibrand & Co. need to demand, in a uniform voice, a signed letter from the administration pledging to make good every last penny spent on trial security. If New York could get $20 billion from a GOP administration, surely its Democratic delegation can pry a 20th of that amount from a Democratic one? Read more: That's a staggering sum of money, and New Yorkers shouldn't be required to cover it on their own. The best solution, of course, would be to deep-six the trials altogether. Terrorists belong at Gitmo -- not in court. Failing that, President Obama & Co. by rights need to come up with the cash to finance their own folly. All of it. Why is Obama making NY taxpayers to be on the hook for as much as $1 billion 9/11 security trials?
So I was sitting in my 150 minute Arab-Israeli conflict class and thought I'd do a mock draft.
