As soon as Marissa opened the doors and walked outside, the hustle and bustle of Boston hit her. She had missed city life for the past two months while she wasn't allowed to go outside. It was windy, and she reached to push back her long, blonde hair, but all she felt was her scarf and an empty feeling deep down in her stomach. She anxiously tapped her hand against her leg as she scanned the parking lot for her dad's old pickup truck, a habit of hers. Finally, her dad pulled up next to where she was standing. Marissa opened the door and hopped in. “Hey kiddo,” her dad leaned over and kissed her on the forehead. “I missed you.” Marissa smiled back, “I missed you too.” She leaned forward and turned on the radio. Marissa and her father had the same taste in music. But to her surprise, her dad hit the power button again and turned the music off. “What are we going to do today?” “Well… I have an idea,” Marissa said cautiously. “Okay,” her dad said, “Let's hear it!” “Can we go to the boardwalk? In Cape Cod? And maybe you could you just drop me off?” Marissa felt like she was aiming too high, like her dad wouldn't approve of her plan. But she only had one day. And it was her day. Her dad seemed to be thinking that too. “Okay. I'll pick you up at seven by the gates of the pier.” He turned the radio back on and they drove the rest of the two hours listening to the melodies alternative bands. When the pickup finally crossed the bridge into Cape Cod, Marissa rolled down the window and leaned out. The fresh smell of the ocean mixed with kettle corn and funnel cake washed over her. Seagulls cawed overhead, and children playfully shrieked in the distance. A smile spread across Marissa's face. She felt free again, like she had been released from prison for one day. When the pickup finally pulled up to the boardwalk, the wrought iron gates were just opening. Cape Cod was where most of Marissa's happiest childhood memories took place. Her family used to have a beach house there, but they sold it a few months ago to pay off debt that was piling up. She loved riding the Ferris wheel and the merry-go-round, eating ice cream sundaes, swimming in the ocean, and hiding in the tree house at the park. And that was her plan for the day. Marissa wanted to relive her happy, carefree childhood days. “Marissa?” Her father's voice took her out of her trance. “Hey. Are you ready? We're here.” Marissa smiled gratefully. “Alright Dad, thanks. Seven o'clock, right here?” She asked as she hopped out of the car. “Yup. See you then!” Marissa's dad handed her a bag, and Marissa blew her father a kiss and shut the door. She watched as the car drove away, following the winding roads and eventually disappearing over the bridge. Only then did she turn away and walk through the big iron gates of the boardwalk.

I am not a experienced fisher but i want to try something new this summer and go pier fishing. I was thinking of keeping the fish i catch and eating them. But i wouldn't know if the people at the dock be mad if i kept them. The dock i am planning to go to is catch all you want and keep but i don't want the people there getting mad. bit confussed like weve been dating around two months, he took me away at the weekend couldnt have been nicer :) lovely hotel we got a nice lunch , got ready to go out ,we were walking on our way to dinner and where we were had a beach/pier he took me over to it holding my hand and pulled out a links of london bracelet and asked if i would go out with him :) i was chuffed and said yes. Then took me to dinner bought me champagne, we went clubbing together back to the hotel for some you no what and he said he loved me all in the one night it was ace. Well that was on saturday/sunday ..... sunday and monday i was on cloud nine i still dont feel like we are going out? is ths a bad sign or am i just not used to it yet

I live in Rhode Island and I'm looking to buy a papasan frame in RI or Massachusetts...I just called Pier 1 since I know they carry them, but they range from $80-100 which is more than I'm looking to pay for one. Do you know of any other places that sell them?Also I know how to use the Internet and will buy online as a last resort...but I'd like to go pick one up tomorrow if possible from a brick and mortar store.

Hi, Sorry in advance that this is really long but I need help breaking this down I will try to be as detailed as possible!: So last night I had this weird dream where I was on an airplane. I forgot where I was coming from but I was heading back to New York City. I was on the plane with a lot of young people (i'm 21) all between the ages of like 19-21. there were some younger ones that were like 14, 15 but appeared to be siblings of the older ones. Mostly everyone aboard this flight was female. ( i know its very weird) I can honestly admit that when it came to this flight I was aware of everyone on it but I did not see direct faces. (they were like blurred) So the plane takes off and from out the window everyone is admiring the beautiful view as it goes up and away: crystal water, white sands, palm trees...etc As we are admiring we notice the plane started to dip a little lower. shortly after we realize that the plane is going to crash. But we all did not freak out. as the plane started to go lower and we started to recognize the surroundings we saw the water. Everyone breathed sighs of relief because they all thought we were going to land in water. the plane kept going over the water and we started to see the tropical trees instead. when we skipped the water landing every one said "awww!" ( as in aw man! we missed that water landing) we soon continued to glide through the trees and everyone breathed sighs of relief, but soon the trees were gone and the plane was still diving. so again when we passed the trees everyone said " awwww!" Then after the trees we saw concrete. Of course the plane landed nose first in the concrete asphalt. after we landed idk how but we all got out the plane and everyone was more or less okay. when we got out, which wasn't a strenuous task, we seemed to just walk right out no scratches. we ended up on like a boardwalk/pier. all the other girls seemedto group and couple up and occupy different parts of the boardwalk. We were waitinig for the media and search and rescue and whatever so that we could get home to NYC. most of the other girls began to take out their blackberrys, and iphones, and PDA's smartphones so that they can twitter, and facebook, and myspace that they were just in a plane crash. I began to take out my ipod touch so that I could go on facebook and post ( i remember this word for word) *Megan Johnson: 's Plane just crashed in brazil, im ok though ; ) but I didn't receive any wireless. So I continued to just wait for the media. Even though the faces were blurred, I highly doubt that I knew anyone on the plane. there were blondes, white girls spanish girls black asian very diverse. Ok this is a long story so bare with me please. I will make this very clear because I need some answers. I am in college and I met this girl in one of my classes and thought that she would be a nice person to get to know. But the first thing that crosses my mind was that she was smart and because I am not I figured that she would be good to study with. After I got her number, I was going to wait a while before I called but that night she texted me and wanted to know why I got her number out of all of the other girls in the class. I joked back saying that she is "HOT" lol. But she took it seriously, which is not a lie. Anyways after that she started to come on to me and so i went along with it and while I was hanging around with her more and more, I started to come on to her. She seemed perfect for me in every way possible. I know thats over rated but listen. We had so much in common that it we could almost read each others minds after a weeks. After that I wanted to be around her more and more because for the first time in my life I actually felt comfortable about someone, and that has never happened before. Around that time I had changed my meds from a few months pier to a different kind because the other ones were eating away at my liver, but that is a different story. The meds that I changed to were new to me and found out that they didnt work at all. So I guess I can say that I felt really different not being able to think and having a bunch of seizures. But the thing was when I was around this girl she calmed me down and when I am relaxed I dont have them. So while the seizures were out of control I made some really dumb mistakes telling this girl that I need to see her all the time and that she is the one for me. I said this after talking to her for about a month or so and we were not really going out. I know that was really stupid but I could not help it because I was not myself and will do anything to prevent myself from having a seizure. Well after I said that she thought I was a freak and I could tell the next day in class. I tried to explain to her that I am not myself right know and how i knew the meds were messing with me. I could read in her eyes that she thought I was full of shit which is totally understandable. She didnt want to talk after that and like I said that she helped me relax and while the meds were not working, I had around 15 seizure in a 2 week period. I then had a mental break down from dealing with this shit my whole life by myself. While that was going on I said a few other stupid things on how I felt but it just made it worse. I then changed my meds back to the original stuff and it worked and know I have them under control again. I now feel like a total retard for the stuff that I said because I would probably never have said that stuff in the first place if I never changed my meds. Now when we walk by each other it is really awkward and it seems that she hates my guts. Which I guess i dont blame her. So should I even try and say anything to her? I already told her what happened on fb but then she dropped me. Or should I just try and talk to her like a normal conversation? I just want her to understand that I was not myself and that I am truly sorry on what I said and did. I am not trying to hook up with her either, if anything I just want to be friends. Dont say anything about being weak or anything like that because you have no idea about dealing with this stuff my whole life and actually finding someone you feel comfortable around.
