alright, so. kid on the basketball team. he's really nice(: and i really like him. last summer, we went to a festival. he chose to stand by me, he tried to take my phone, he teased me about this freckle i have above my lip, and when i got "mad" about it he said "wait up!" and apologized. but recently, my friends have been making comments about me to him, like "kelly loves you" and stuff like that. and he asked this girl i know if she knows me, and then he said i was a creeper. his friend corey asked what they were talking about, and he said two girls. corey asked if they were hot, and he said "ehh nahh". i was talking to him on facebook today, and this is how it went. me: just so you know, i am not a creeper. its about the people responsible for the Salem witch trials in the play "the Crucible" i need ideas for the conclusion... i don't know what to talk about. In Arthur Miller's play The Crucible (1953), Miller uses many factors to create the mayhem that occurs in the play. Although majority of the people in Salem played some part in the Witch Trials, there are three key people who are mostly responsible for the havoc. The two people that was most responsible for these trials were Abigail and Judge Danforth. In The Crucible Abigail Williams uses vindictive lies, and her influence over the other girls to initiate the witch trials. Abigail's affair with John Proctor, as well as her influence over the girls (leading them to make the false accusations), starts the pointing of fingers, which leads directly to the trials. In the play, it is known that Abigail has had a hard childhood. The way that she grew up is the origin of her radical actions. Abigail's main skill in the play is finding people's flaws, their weaknesses, their prejudices and ruthlessly manipulating them to her advantage. For most of her years in Salem Abigail was powerless shunned and disrespected by the townspeople. She had been kicked out the Proctors home by Good Proctor, and has earned a bad name for herself. After being caught by Rev. Parris dancing in the woods conjuring up spirits, Abigail and her friends lie about their intentions of trying to bring back spirits to escape punishment by confessing to seeing the devil and claiming to have a strong connection to God. Abigail, now that the power she has longed for. Abigail is motivated not only by the jealousy of Goody Proctor and the desire to have John Proctor, but the lust for power she has never had. Abigail's yearn for authority and respect in the town leads her into mendacious accusation again people that have troubled her, or people that has something that she wants. Abigail's main motivation during the witch trails is to convict Goody Proctor of witch craft, so that Abigail may take her place in John Proctors bed. In the play it is very obvious that Abigail the main cause of the trials. In The Crucible, it is very obvious that Abigail is the main cause of the trials, but the one responsible for allowing the trails to continue is Judge Danforth, the man in charge of the Salem Witch Trials. I hold Danforth fully responsible the events that occurred. Judge Danforth rules the court room with his egotistic personality and his respect for authority. He is dedicated to removing all witches from Salem, and will not allow anyone to undermine the court. Danforth's main problem is that he believes Abigail and her crew are speaking the truth. He thinks that Abigail and her friend's confession are substantial evidence, and enough to charge someone with witch craft. Anyone that objects to the trials, or deems them false is seen as undermining the court. When A Giles Corey tries to defend his wife, Danforth contends that he is trying the overthrow the court. Judge Danforth views his acuity as flawless, and he is insulted when anyone, questions his decisions. If Danforth wouldn't have been so easily persuaded by Abigail and her clique, and actually looked at different viewpoints, the trials wouldn't have gone on for as long as they did. Even after Abigail flees Salem Judge Danforth tries to finish out the trials by getting Proctor, Martha Corey and Rebecca Nurse to confess, even though there is enough evidence to prove their innocence. Danforth shows the tendency of government officials to want to avoid making themselves and their agencies look bad, regardless of the consequences for others. All in all, Danforth refuses to see the truth. He hangs innocent people to avoid the defilement of his name.
I need some help.... I'm writing and essay and i need a good conclusion?
My fiance's best friend will be 15 when we get married in November. (We're 20.) Avery (the 15 yr old) has a druggie for an older brother, so Corey (my fiance) has taken him under his wing for about 5 years now. He really want him to be his best man. I really want my 15 year old sister to be my maid of honor as well. I have 2 best friends, and I really can't pick between the two. Plus, my sister is closer to me than either of them. I know that the maid of honor and best man are supposed to have certain responsibilites, but Corey and I are paying for and planning the entire wedding alone. So, even if we had older moh and bm then they wouldn't have any responsibilities. Is this an okay thing to do though? I think it would be a bit untradtional, but we're kind of an odd couple anyway. lol.

In two months, twin baby sisters will be joining him. First names must be similar to Hayden in some way. Middle names must be really girly. After months of trying, Will and his wife Jennifer are pregnant with sextuplets! Four boys and two girls! Initials must be J.T. for all boys and R.L. for all girls. Finally, you and your husband will be blessed with octuplets! Four boys and two girls. Both first and middle names must be family names! However, you can modernize these family names a bit (Ex. Change Helen into Helena).

I walk into math class the next day and take a seat. Maybe we won't get our quizzes back. Maybe she hasn't finished correcting them, and I can wait another day. However, nothing that good ever happens to me. “I will be calling you to my desk. Once you receive your paper, please start on chapter five, lesson three, on page 175.” Ms. Andrews clear voice rang out through the room. “Alice…Benjamin…Alex…” it goes on like this and I listen intently. Sometimes she talks to the kids, no doubt giving them advice for their next test or quiz. And then I hear: “Jordan.” I walk over to her desk, my head down. She looks up at me through her glasses, clearly disappointed. “Now Jordan, what seems to be the problem?” she hands it to me, and my eyes practically come out of their sockets. “A fifty six? But I never got fifty six percent before!” I explain. “Well. Did you study?” she purses her lips. “Yes! It's just, well, my old school isn't as ahead as this school, and I was really confused. I did try to understand, I just couldn't.” I admit. “Mm-hmm,” Ms. Andrews smiles. “well Jordan, you could have just told me so.” she looks around the room. “Amy Rangel! Can you come here for a moment?” A tall girl with long brown hair comes to the desk. “Now, Amy, I understand you have the highest score in the class. Would you mind tutoring Jordan until the test before second semester?” Amy bites her lower lip, which cannot be a good thing. “Well, I would like to, but I'm already tutoring Timothy every other day.” “Well, that's alright, Amy.” the teacher says, “You may go back to your seat.” “Well, I guess that means you get the student with the second highest score in the class, which is…Seth Gonzalez!” WHAT!? You have got to be kidding me, lady! “Yes?” Seth jogs over to the desk, then sees me and smiles. “What are you doing here?” I hiss at him. “Sorry to burst your bubble but I've been in this class since the beginning of the school year.” Seth laughs. How could I not notice him before? Where did he even sit? I scan the room for an empty desk and find one in the back corner of the opposite side of the room. Aw great. The universe must hate me. “Seth, would you mind tutoring Ms. Duenas until the report cards come out?” Ms. Andrews asks. I shut my eyes and cross my fingers. Please, please, please say no! Tell her you're busy! Anything! “Well….” I hear him say. I can tell he glances at me because he chuckles for a second. Then he says the final phrase: “Okay, I'll do it.” “WHAT?!” I shriek. The entire class turns to look at me. My face heats up and I can feel myself turning red. “Okay, then.” Ms. Andrews says after the class has gone back to what they were doing. “Seth, you will tutor Jordan in geometry. Figure out your schedule among yourselves.” then she dismisses us. “How about tonight?” Seth asks me. “Bite me.” I reply. “Okay, see you at five.” he says as he goes to his desk. I sit down and bang my head onto my desk. “Ouch.” I mumble. Why oh why does fate hate me? “So, what are you doing tomorrow night?” Corey asks me. We are walking home again, and it's an extra windy day, so my stupid scarf keeps blowing into my face every two seconds. “Nothing. I'll probably just stay home and watch TV. Why?” I say, pulling strands of yarn out of my mouth. “So…I heard that movie with Jim Carrey is funny.” “Mm-hmm,” I say, distracted. “Do you want to go see it tomorrow?” Corey asks me, hesitantly. He looks down and scratches his beanie. “Do you want to go to the movies tomorrow?” I keep walking. “Sure…” I say, slowly. “Who else is going?” “Uh…” Corey smiles shyly. “No one else.” Whoa! Is this what I think it is? Is Corey asking me out!? I look at him. “You mean, like…a date?” Corey's cheeks turn pink, but I don't think it's from the cold air. “Well, yeah. I guess.” I think about it. About how only the day before I laughed with Emerald at the idea of me ever going on a date with Corey. And then I thought of how much we talk in study hall, and how at ease I feel when I'm with him. And when I say, “Sure, Corey. So someone said that the wrestler known as "The Rock" was gay and I figured that they were just being assholes and spreading gossip about celebs...not that I care about any of that but BESIDES THE POINT!!! So he's recently been starring in a lot of....kiddo, cutesy movies and two of them being in a tutu...and they are all connected to Disney in some way..like in that one movies where he had to be a dad or something and it had that little girl for Corey in the White House or something..and the one that's coming out calling Tooth Fairy I think and the lady who play Mary Poppins or the grandma/queen in Princess Diaries...and he was also in a Hannah Montanna ep. and he had make up on....I mean..this could all just be a big coincidence or what ever but....I mean you just have to ask right? He's always been doing something so girly..o-o; I WAS JUST WANDERING!!!!

ok so heres my stich on boyss theres this kid Ray and I really liked him and hes in my grade and we're both 15. he said he was interessted in me and things were looking good. but then he got drunk on school grounds and got expelled and went to juvy. i decided to move on and i started talking to this boy Corey online and texting (i've met him a few years before but havent seen him in person since then) Corey is 19 and we clicked really well and I like him well turns out Corey is Rays older brother and Ray is out of juvy!!! so me and corey are planning to hang out sunday, but im sure if i saw Ray again the feeling would come back. what should i do? i cant like two brothers?!?

I'm really torn here. I love acting I think it's really fun and all and I always think, if I get more confidence then I'd actually think I'd have a shot at being an actress but I am painfully shy and I'm self critical. But I love writing as well, writing is easier for me because I can let out my thoughts into the novel but I don't believe I can write well, I showed my mum a paragraph of one of my stories and she thought it was really good. A girl in my school managed to be accepted into a agency and that actually hurt me, I know I should be happy for her but I'm jealous too, why can't I have the confidence to audition for things? Be a bit more outgoing? I'm only 14 and I'm starting to understand that everything comes with time and that I shouldn't start acting like I'm 17. I'd love to be a well known actress and I've always imagined myself at interviews on TV and I really knew I wanted to be an actress last year in my H&S class and the teacher was talking about all the different jobs you can have and I suddenly became terrified, I didn't want to be a nobody, I wanted to be known and now I can't even concentrate in the lessons because I always think of myself being an actress but I don't know what to do. Writing is always fun because anything you want can happen It's like being a director, anything you want goes. Do child stars become famous when their older? Or do they dissapear like the two corey's and Shirley Temple? I don't know what to do!
