I had my tragus pierced about 6/7 hours ago....?
I've been thinking about writing reviews lately, for books, movies, video games, etc. I mostly want to do this to keep myself well-rounded when it comes to writing (as well as to keep myself fresh and practiced). If I can actually bring it to the public somehow (posting it in my journal on DeviantART, making YouTube videos about it with my friend, possibly getting it into the school newspaper or something... Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself ;P), then great. I'm going to establish specific criteria for each thing (Like plot, characters, for video games gameplay and music, movies maybe the acting itself). How else can I write a good review?

How do you write a good review?
My music teacher once showed me a website for rating and reviewing teachers, that contained some teachers and my school... but I lost it. I then attempted to join "ratemyteacher.com" but my school doesn't exist on that site. Does anyone know a decent website for rating reviewing teachers?

What is a good High School Teacher Rating Website?
I am looking to buy a desktop computer to hook up to my Panasonic 46" 1080p plasma. If I have to, I'll build one (but I DON'T want to). What I need to know is, what kind of processor will I need? And who rules in desktops? I do light video editing (not enough to make a diff, but I'd like the option when I get drunk and awesomely creative), some Photoshop/Corel 11 (heavier than the video editing), will be getting rid of cable and using the desktop to stream all video, movies, music etc. as a home theater (important), and mix a little music with FL Studio (a DAW). I have a copy of a e 3D rendering program - Z Brush ( but I probably play with it once or twice, then get bored because I am impatient). I have a ps3 and a 360, so gaming is not a huge deal to me, BUT I do want good video, and something a little better than what I actually need. I just don't want to buy something that I will absolutely never use though. Does that make sense? I hope this is clear, although I know it wasn't! :P Anyway, looking to keep it under $1,000 but willing to spend more IF it is the right investment. Am I good with a Gateway SX2800-07, is HP better as a desktop brand (like a 150t?), does Dell really suck? Why don't I see reviews for Gateway as they seem to have a good deal for the price.? Can I swing with a Core Duo Quad, or should I flip for a i7 920? But is the 860 really a better deal? Or should I be happy with a i5 750? Why does everyone hate on the AMD Phenom II Quad? Most of the models I'm looking at have 6-8 gig of RAM, a TB HDD, and the rest I can figure out (vid card, peripheral hookups, wireless, etc.). The processor is where I get lost as to what I really need. Or if you recommend/hate a certain OEM, or building your own is THE only way to go. Talk to me you silly little freaks!!!I know newegg, and would build my own if I really, really knew what I was doing. But I don't, and even pricing stuff out, it doesn't seem like there is that big of savings to save me the headache. If the guts suck, that's one thing and I agree, but it seems to me some of these comps have good parts, and I would pay the extra couple hundred to have it ready to go. I'm not rich, but I can afford it for the hassle, ya dig? Or is building your own really it, and I need to STFU? Bueller?

    Desktop build/buy question?
comments & critiques are very welcome as usual. this is just a tiny one (: It's hard to concentrate. My mind can hardly think. It would be much easier To fill it to the brink With music. Evacuate my head, And fill it with a tune. When peace is hard to get, Whisper something in my ear. Sing my favorite song. Let me hear the melody, Even though the words are wrong. A tiny bird once said to me The sweetest sound I've heard, The faintest little whistle Something so absurd.

    R&P: Mind reviewing a short poem (:?
p.s. i love to text and i always have to have a memory card because, i have a lot of music and pictures. & i love taking pictures . i was looking at the driod eris and i was dead set on getting it until i read the reviews on verizon.com. i am 15 . & i just want a good phone because, i'm tired of having horrible ones.

what new verizon phone would you recommend for a teenage girl .?
I wrote the music for this but wonna know whether the lyrics are worth it. What you thinkof it? Here I stand In the middle of the room Thought forgetting you Would be so easy and soon But I failed I was wrong Now I don't know what to do If I knew, If I only knew How to reach you I would run up to you Tell you words never said Kiss you like no one did But I don't know I wonder, baby CHORUS Where are you What are you doing now Who loves you Whom do you think you love While I'm here alone Killing time looking at the phone Listening to sad love songs Where are you And where you want to go Still doubting What you got is what you want Oh, baby common In your eyes it's sunlight affection Our love is perfection I love the nights Cuz When I lay in my bad I Close my eyes And dreams take me away To the planet where We are togetherPLEASE JUST BE HONEST IF U DON"T LIKE IT SAY I Will not be UPSET

    Will You Review My Lyrics?
I can't find the information on the website or on reviews because all anyone wants to tell you is about the sensor in the shoe and about the information tracking on the website. I like the Couch to 5K program, but I want something for my nano that will tell me what intervals to jog or walk and that kind of stuff and be able to listen to my music. There is a program like this for the Ipod touch, but I dont wanna buy a new ipod. Anyone use the nike plus for nano that can answer this?

Does the Nike plus for Ipod nano have training programs on it similar to the C25K program?
Ok, I was reading this really interesting review about the film that pointed out something that I'd never noticed.. The "monolith" is tall, black, a vertical rectangle, but if it were turned on its side it would look exactly like a cinema screen. And the movie has a black-screen sequence with the "monolith" music all of the people watching it were and are in effect staring at a "monolith" I thought this was really interesting, especially because it went completely over my head when I saw it

About the 2001: A Space Odyssey "monolith".. Did you ever notice?
I know theres lots of options, but i rely want a mp3 player that can hold alot of music and videos. i dont rely care about apps even thought thouse are fun. i'm rely caught between the zune or an ipod. walkmans seem cool but not rely what i want. with the zune and ipods i dont rely want the hd or touch because there more app oriented and cant hold as much music. but then looking at the regular ones i dont know which one is better. any opinions or reviews i could get would be awsome! thanks!

What MP3 player should i get?
I say Portable Music Player instead of mp3 player because I want a player that supports various formats. This player must include: 1. All-Around Audio Support, including support for .ogg, .FLAC, and even .tta (True Audio) 2. Great sound quality (I don't mind "lossy," but the best will do). 3. Not a pain to upload. 4. Good reviews (Has to have fair-decent reviews) 5. A stable price (consider this last-- if I'm truly looking for the best, it should be worth every dime I put into it.). 6. This isn't really a requirement, but I'd appreciate it if you told me what else the player can do, and what you like about it. Regards. For some reason, I don't think I'm going to want an iPod... They don't support ANY of the formats I've listed in requirement #1. Something more original... please.
