How does money/high wages and inflation work?
Ok, Here's the deal! I've got a plan to make alot of money, I'm out there just like everybody else trying to make the quick buck and get rich quick. But... When doing this what you really need is the drive and potential whitch comes from loving what you do. I'm not saying you cant suced doing somthing you dont like or love doing but when it comes down to it if you love your job thats when you can make the big bucks because thats where the drive comes from wanting to suceed in loving what you do. So what im looking for is silent/private party people to help me out with funding my bright idea. How would i go about doing this? Without going through banks for loans.

I got a message today, from FORS and Associates from a private number, but gave me a number to call back, was told it was a very important matter and a decision will be made in my half with out my knowledge. I called back, got some lady on the phone, she told me I wrote a hot check in 2001 and the clients is looking to have me put in prison if I do not pay them the 540 bucks by the end of the month. told the lady to send me something in writing and I will consider paying it( i never wrote a bad check bank account been open 15 years) told her I wasn't paying SH@T, and hung up the phone. she called me back she said "listen you broke B*tch, I contacted the police department to have you arrested on the charge of writing bad checks, I hung up. This lady has called me a total of 15 times!. I googled the number and found that it is owned by On-Call Resp Org Svcs Inc, I contacted them and asked who is assigned this number because they are calling and harrasing me and since I have been told 3 different company names. This man from on-call took my complaint. well financial liability continued to call me this time with the lady and the man who orginally left the voicemail on 3 way. I told them that I contacted the FBI, BBB, FTC, my police station, and attorney general office, (its closed today damn) well I thought the calls stop. then an hour later I get another private call I answer it was a man claiming he was the owner of financial liability, and I called the Oncall to file a complaint and "Who the f*CK am I to file a complaint against his company when I owe money and he recorded all the calls and I am making everything up, I hung up on him, NOW I AM RECEIVING PHONE CALLS BACK TO BACK ON MY HOUSE PHONE AND CELL PHONE PRIVATE. CANT SHUT PHONE OFF HAVE A SICK MOTHER AND NEED TO BE CONTACTED. I AM SO WORKED UP, BY THIS I HAVE BEEN CRYING FOR 3 HOURS. LADY TOLD MY 5 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER THAT "MOMMY IS GOING TO JAIL AND SHE WILL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN, BECAUSE I CAN'T PAY MY BILLS TO TAKE CARE OF HER. HOW CAN I GET THIS TO STOP???

Printing money, unsustainably low interest rates, rising inflation, impossibly high levels of taxation with more to come. A commercial and private property market artificially supported valuations. Government debt at eye-watering levels, savers and investors sustaining massive losses. Corporate and private business drowning in debt. Consumers massively over-stretched on mortgage and other private borrowing. Crippling legislation undermining economic growth, NHS spending out of control as the population's health continues to deteriorate. Social services overwhelmed as family break-ups spiral ever upwards. Alcohol and drug addiction out of control as Police and medical advice is ignored. Anti-social behaviour highest it's ever been and creative accounting being used to hide the reality of what's really going on. It's not all down to the Government but their policies are not helping. They've tried to buck the market with this bail-out but it's coming unglued. Double-dip recession? It's 100% guaranteed.Response to Alan: To me it does feel as if this will definitely happen and I don't think it's going to make much difference who is in charge. I think the UK will need a miracle to get out of this one

There's good reason to feel outraged at the growing appearance that we're running a system of lemon socialism, in which losses are public but gains are private. And at the very least, you would think that Obama would understand the importance of acknowledging public anger over what's happening. But no. What do you think of Paul Krugman calling Obama "clueless" when it comes to dealing with Wall Street?
My boyfriend is studying to get his bachelor's degree in philosophy. He loves the subject, but I'm not convinced that it will get him a good job. He is attending a small, private Christian university. He does not want to be a teacher. We may move eventually, but for now, we live in a primarily rural area without a lot to offer. He claims there are tons of jobs available in the philosophy field, but I think he imagines himself getting paid big bucks to sit in a chair and tell companies how to solve their ethical dilemmas. I just don't think that's going to happen, especially not around here and straight out of college. What might he actually end up doing? I sure hope he doesn't work at the video store forever!
Careers for a bachelor's in philosophy?
I have had her about a year and a half. She has always been wick and a bit mareish and sometimes throws in cheeky bucks. However about two months ago I took her out for a walk down the road she I went for a trot and she bombed off up the road for ages and nothing I could do would stop her. When I got her back to a trot I jumped off and walked her back. (I have never done it with any horse before) and now every time I ride her she is always bucking. She managed to get me off the other day. She is bucking badly now. I took her out yesterday. I hacked to my private field and was going to do some walk and trot work. and on the way up the she was really forward. and then took off for a few strides lept forward and bucked on the road. then when I got into the field she was okay. then out of halt she took off into full pelt gallop and I was so nervous I just went back. I really don't know what to do. I have been assured it's nothing physical. I am former computer professional who is trying to get his feet wet again, trying to get back into the industry. I have a potential client who is in the auction business, but no longer wants to be on ebay. He is considering hiring me to create a new auction site for him and manage it. He has full-time employees to manage and create the products and users. I will manage the website itself, supporting him and his employees. I'm looking into hosting services, especially those with pre-made auction website software. I've come up with one I like, and a bunch of lesser alternatives. I will be giving a proposal to him on Thursday (does not have to be formally-written...much of it will be verbal). I've not done private consulting work before, and was hoping some of you out there might have some advice on what to focus on regarding - the proposal, - how much to charge (the software is 695 one-time charge, and the hosting 250/yr, and 85/hr if *I* need assistance), I'm thinking 2k up front, then 20% of his auction returns, with no other future fees. - creating a contract (it is someone I have known for a long time and trust), - how to offer what is fair regarding quick personal support, without opening myself up to bombardments of phone calls and emails 24/7/365 - What to look for from the hosting service - Whatever else I might need to keep in mind. Although it's been a while, I have done web-scripting before, including some pretty hard-core Oracle. This software is written in PHP and MySQL. I don't know these technologies in particular, but I'm sure I won't find them all that different. I'm obviously responsible to fix problems, and, as I said above, if *I* need assistance, the hosting company will give it to me for 85-bucks-an-hour. Sorry this is sort of a nebulous, vague question, but this is very new to me. Thank you for any advice you have.
First potential computer consulting job (auction/host management). Any advice?
Ok I am 18 since december and have been living with my 21 year old sister for about 2 years since my grandfathers death. She makes about 13,300 bucks a year and we decided she should claim me on her taxes since I am trying 2 go 2 a private school in the fall and have no money. The problem is she told my mother she wasn't giving me any and I don't think that's fair because even though I live with her, she does absolutely NOTHING for me. My mother sends me money and even pays my sisters car note, insurance, and utility bills. Sooo I wanted to know around how much money she would get for claiming me because i know she's going to lie about it!

supervisor at a hotel, the United States Marine Corps, and Management for a sporting goods retail company. I now work about an hour drive there and back, its retail and I'm a (hardlines) manager. The very first day within an hour of me working another manager told me that she wouldn't have hired me, I thought that was very unprofessional to judge me within a hour of me taking notes. Then about a week later I wanted to do LMS which is something your suppose to do to learn more about the tools I'll need to be the best manager i can be I.E ( time Management) ect, during my lunch which is against the law in California she brought me into the office and told me I couldn't be as stupid as I looked to want to work off the clock. I felt disrespected by her (merch manager) I didn't know how to respond so I didn't say anything, I told 2 employees what she said and they told me that is how she is. I talked to a few of my closest friend and wife, they told me I either needed to talk to her in private of tell the Store Manager, I didn't do either only because I haven't worked with her since the very first week of starting there. Now the problem is last week I went to clock in and she said that the next time I talk b.s about her and the staff I need to make sure its to someone that won't tell her. She also said that she wouldn't help me anymore with me doing my job. I never said anything about her I did say something about 1 staff member I told another employee that we needed to hire another night crew member b/c the one we had couldn't do simple task that I asked. I was so distort that I told the (merch) manager that if she brought the employee that said I said something about her I would quit on the spot b/c I know I never said anything negative about her or her employee. The Store manager brought me and the (merch) manager into his office yesterday and said " I don't know where to begin" the buzz around the store is that I have been talking b.s about everyone in the store. I told them I didn't say anything about anyone but the night crew member which I admitted but it wasn't as bad as the informant said. The informant is someone that I have never talked to that supposedly overheard the conversion at the cash register that I said something about 4 different employees that there worthless. I know for a fact that I didn't say anyone was worthless. The informant was brought in and said that I said the worthless thing. I said I never said that bring in the cashier and lets see what he says, so they did and he said exactly what happened that I didn?t say anything bad I just said that we needed to hire another night crew member. I was put on a 30 notice which I guess is if I don't comply with everything they say they will fire me. The store manager also said that I need the respect of the (Merch) manager and the other 2 (merch) that they don't have to help me at all they could just leave the merchandise in the back and I'd have to get it done by myself which he said would be impossible. I'm really not sure if that is legal first that he can give me a 30 day notice for this, 2nd can I pay the 450 bucks for a lie detector test to prove my innocents or at least put doubt into the employee head that I didn't say anything as what the informant has been saying. The 30 day notice I haven't seen as of yet I'll get it tomorrow but he said it will say what I just said and that I don't give the employees jobs and basically don't do my job. I think I'm in the whole situation b/c of my hard working, I try my best always, I'm competitive against any and all including myself. I go above and beyond what I should do always, I help every customer I run into, I am top 3 in the store selling service plans which is a really big part of the company. I help all the employee that I can and I'm not sure why this is happening. I am mixed black and white I look mostly black I'm thinking this maybe the case since she judge me within an hour of me taking notes. Any advice will be sought out and I need to do something as the time is ticking.I mentioned my race b/c like I said she said she wouldn't have hired me, why else would she say that when I had only been there for 30 minutes, it has to be some sort of discremenation don't you think.I would say we are equal managers but she has been there longer. I said that I didn't badmouth her just the one person as a night crew member which I admit I shouldn't have done. And I didn't badmouth her I said I told two people what she said ( I wouldn't call that badmouthing) just to see if thats normal because I don't think it is. And about the race thing I guess your right I didnt think people could have an instant dislike about someone they don't know or at least I haven't seen or heard about it so forget about the race thing I guess I brought that up b/c Im the only colored person there but I can except she instantly disliked me.
